Do you know why community colleges are so popular in the U.S.?  One reason is that students studying at community colleges can complete the first two years of university courses and then transfer to a 4-year college or university, from where they will receive their bachelor's degree. On May 9th,EducationUSA Shanghai will host Ms. Marilyn Cheung, Director of International Student Recruitment and Partner Relations at Foothill and De Anza Colleges in California for an information session at the Shanghai America Center. This session will introduce the transfer process and how to successfully navigate the process. Foothill and De Anza Colleges are regarded as two of California’s top community colleges, boasting some of the most impressive transfer rates to top universities.  Learn how community colleges can be the pathway to achieving your goals and why universities often prefer transfer students.
